How I so enjoyed this little pixie's shoot. A first birthday for this munchkin. Make a wish! A first cake smash session for such a lovely family. A first birthday session in my new studio. A first truly successful shoot using external flash after decades of shooting with only natural light. However, most importantly, a first moment of unwavering confidence that I do actually know what I am doing. How this means such a great deal!
